Diva Universal is back this November with an all new provocative drama series, “Dracula” starring Golden Globe winner Jonathan Rhys Meyers of “The Tudors” fame as one of the world’s most iconic characters.
The new thriller series brings us back to the late 19th century where the mysterious Dracula arrive in London, posing as an American entrepreneur who wants to bring modern science to the victorian society. With a specific interest in the new technology of electricity that promises to bring brightness in the night, a trick especially useful for someone who avoids the sun.
His travels however harbors a darker agenda as he plots to take revenge on those who cursed him to an immortal life centuries earlier. Everything seems to be going according to plan….until he becomes infatuated with a woman who happens to be a reincarnation of his dead wife. From the producers of the critically acclaimed, Emmy Award-winning hit “Downton Abbey” comes “Dracula, a twisted, sophisticated and sexy take on Bram Stoker’s classic novel, proving that some stories never die.
