This is pretty bad news. Over two years ago, there was the tsunami in Japan which wreaked havoc on the Fukushima nuclear plant, and as of yesterday, it has been announced widely that the threat level has been raised… yet again. In case you haven’t been paying attention to what is the biggest ecological crisis of your lifetime, the plant has been leaking tons and tons of radioactive into the ocean since the disaster, with the most recent event representing the worst ever leak in the damaged plant’s history. While many of us would like to think we are safe and sound all the other way across the globe, it would be wise to pay close attention to the spread of radiation – especially since the risk of buying contaminated seafood is a looming possibility.
