NOW EVEN MY GRANDMA CAN SHOOT A MOVING TARGET FROM A MILE AWAY

TP16

Now, even my grandma can easily fire a sniper rifle to hit a moving target 1km away from the comfort of her wheelchair. Presenting the first precision guided firearm (PGF), a long range rifle system, created by TrackingPoint, an Austin, Texas-based company.

As if civilian access to deadly weapons in the U.S. wasn’t already exciting enough, this soon-to-be commercially available jet fighter-based technology (talk about being over the top) that would allow literally anyone with eyesight to accurately shoot any target.

The conventional means of sniping would require years of training and manual calculations of the wind, distance, and a variety of variable factors by an assistant for a sniper to accurately aim and fire at the right time to hit a target from that far away. That process is as tough as it sounds, so imagine how much harder it would be if it were a moving target.
With that in mind, TrackingPoint’s technology actually does all the calculations for you and more – it literally fires the gun for you at the right time based on those calculations! You need to watch it to believe it, so click on the video below and enjoy.
