CAR CARRY-ONS: 5 THINGS YOU SHOULD ALWAYS HAVE IN YOUR CAR

Seeing the state of traffic you get these days, it’s a safe bet to say that you spend more waking hours in your car than you do at home. With all that time huddled in your second home, the chances of being caught off guard increases all the same. We all know the usual drill of having emergency first-aid kits, tyre-swapping tools, and jumper cables stored in your boot, but here are a list of other unexpected items that you might want to toss into your ride:

Wet wipes. They’re ideal for cleaning up after spillages, especially if your seats are lined with delicate leather and acts as a handy freshen-upper during a road trip. Whether you need to cleanse those hands after gobbling up your drive thru burger or picking up after your young one, you’ll definitely find use for this carry on.

Duct Tape. There’ll always be a use for duct tape in some random situation or other in your endeavours. Duct tape is ideal for any kind of temporary patch up and repair work.

A Change of Clothes. You’ll thank me later when you’re drenched in sweat after changing a tyre or jumping recklessly into a lake (hey, it happens).

Hidden Spare Cash. Keeping extra cash in your car can save you a lot of stress on those days when you forget to pocket your wallet, or worse, get unexpectedly pickpocketed.

Multi-Purpose Pocket Knife. They’re awesome and they’re useful. A multi purpose knife has all sorts of nifty tools that you’re bound to find use for. Try to especially get one with the seatbelt cutter as they can be a potential life saver some day.
