It is confirmed that Dutch automaker Spyker will be ‘unleashing’ the highly anticipated B6 Venator Spyder come the end of 2014, which in a nutshell is a convertible version of the series.
Packing a 375hp supercharged V6 engine, located behind the two seat cabin, other design highlights include Spyker’s unique exposed gearshift design, and the extensive use of Litano leather – exclusively provided by the Royal Hulshof Dutch Tanneries. Meanwhile, its chassis promises superior handling, as Lotus had a hand in its engineering.
Enthusiastic about positive reactions to the recently revealed roadster, John Walton, Spyker executive says: “Reaction to the coupe version in Geneva was so overwhelmingly positive that we accelerated out initial plan to deliver the Spyker B6 Venator Spyder Concept. This is an exquisite drop-top that begs to be driven on the Pacific Coast Highway – yet will provide more exclusivity than any other sports car it will pass on the road.”
Distinctly sporty and decked with some sweet bling in the cockpit, this model is boasted as more accessible to enthusiasts – considering it’s not as gaudy as some of its jewel studded predecessors, and is priced at US$150,000.
In the meantime, while you clear out that spot in your garage, we leave you with this video of the marque being recently showcased at Pebble Beach:
