SINGAPORE, 17 MAY 2013 – Close to 300 fans caught the live recording of The Temper Trap’sacoustic performance for MTV Sessions held last night at Resorts World Sentosa’s state-of-the-art Waterfront Studio. The crowd was transfixed by frontman Dougy Mandagi’s distinctive vocals as the full band played an acoustic set for the first time in front of an intimate audience of this size, a pleasant departure from their large-scale concert appearances. They performed six songs including “Need Your Love” and “Everybody Leaves in the End” from their latest self-titled album.
The band consisting of lead singer Mandagi, guitarist Lorenzo Sillitto, bassist Jonathan Aherne, drummer Toby Dundas, and keyboardist and guitarist Joseph Greer also thrilled fans with hit single “Sweet Disposition” and they later called it a night with “Trembling Hands,” which entered the Top 30 shortlist for 2013 APRA Song of the Year last month.
